The Role As a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager, you will oversee the full finance function for our growing EPCC operations. You will drive project-based accounting, manage cash flow and banking facilities, and mentor a junior finance team while ensuring strict financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial & Project Accounting: Prepare complete management accounts, execute month/quarter-end closings, and manage critical EPCC project accounting (including WIP schedules, progress billing, and revenue recognition).
- Cash Flow & Banking: Forecast cash flows, manage banking facilities (trade lines, bank guarantees, overdrafts), and directly engage with banks for applications and renewals.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure statutory, tax, and ISO compliance. Establish robust finance SOPs and coordinate with external auditors and company secretaries.
- Leadership & Engagement: Coach junior AP/AR team members, resolve customer billing disputes directly, and provide strategic financial insights to top management.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in full-set accounting and financial management.
- Strong background in project-based accounting, ideally within the EPCC, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
- Experience managing corporate cash flow, trade facilities, and bank engagements.
- Leadership capability to mentor junior staff while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations.
